Who was JL Moreno (1889 - 1974)?

He was a Psychologist who developed Psychodrama and Sociodrama two  methods that use action in order to identify aspects of systems. He believed in the possibility of change when spontaneity is motivated in people.

Using dramatic methods is a way of accessing creativity with the prospect of changing dysfunctional patterns. A psychodrama can give insight of past, present and future and allows for emotions and understanding. Psychodrama allows externalising thoughts, struggles and resolutions That provides a powerful way to engage with processes in a more objective sphere. Enlightened thoughts, catharsis and physical release are part of the process. Psychodrama works in one-to-one and group settings. A Psychodrama group offers an inexpensive way of working through issues that hold you back from achieving your life goals.
